Guess who’s turning 4 in August?! Cap City Creatives!!!

On Friday, August 9, 2013, we will host the CCC 4th Birthday Party at the Short North Tavern from 6-10 pm. The event will feature drink discounts, appetizer specials, local music, a silent auction featuring local art, and cake by Piece of Cake! Throughout the night, CCC will be raffling off items donated by Short North area businesses. A $4 donation (or pay what you wish) is suggested at the door.

The Art and Artists of 614 is hosting a social mixer on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Short North Tavern. All artists are welcome! Local art groups, organizations, curators, and galleries will be in attendence to recruit new members and book artists for future exhibits. Artists are encouraged to bring portfolios and business cards. Hope to see you there!

Cap City Creatives is participating in the 5th annual Eco Chic Craftacular, a “green”-themed event put on by Etsy Team Columbus.  CCC will have a tent for the day-long event alongside the Columbus Idea Foundry, Art Party, and other arts groups. We will host live demos and interactive projects, and be selling our work. Mark your calendars, folks!

The Artmageddon exhibit runs through January 26 at Travonna Coffee House in the Short North. Artwork celebrating the end of the world and other general weirdness is on exhibit by many CCC members. A must see according to the Columbus Alive!
